In the 1990's he ventured into the commercial real estate world having come close to the acquisition of a prominent casino in the mid 1990's Velazquez understood the importance of having strategic financing and management in place so he strives to tackle these points with current commercial real estate private buyers and sellers worldwide. 

Following September 11, 2001 Velazquez began his venture into the precious metals and commodity arena, first educating himself on the basics then tackling the daunting task of building a client base in this new arena. He is no desk jockey upon the request of various clients he has traveled the world from Europe, Asia to Africa to ensure the the seamless completion of their commodity acquisitions.

Velazquez took it a step further when he began to represent private clients who owned unique precious stone collections from diamonds and rubies to sapphires, who were in need of consultation in not only the liquidation of the stone but also the appropriate marketing to ensure that the unique stone was matched with the right private buyer  and not just sold to a wholesale diamond dealer.

In doing this he found a niche as he is able to implement his knowledge of marketing and public relations as well as the precious stone market.

Velazquez has done what most in the diamond and gold industry aspire to do and he has been to Africa to witness as well as participate in not only the mining of precious stones and metals but also the eventual sale to private buyers. He has seen the full spectrum from the extraction from the earth to the eventual display in a high end jewelry store. This knowledge of how the market works has made him an asset to his clients.

During his time he has been a professional wrestler and athlete as well as an independent journalist, he is currently a radio show host in his spare time and host a mixed martial arts radio/tv show in New England. He is an Accredited Jewelry Professional with the Gemological Institute of America, Licensed Commercial Real Estate Professional in New York, and a registered News Journalist with the United Press Association. He works with various charitable organizations lending his assistance and name in order to further their progress in making strides to achieving their goals.
