Chick-fil-A will do something it only does 2 times a year

For chicken-loving fans nationwide, Chick-fil-A’s weekly Sunday closure is already a tough fact to accept. With Thanksgiving just around the corner, the idea of the fast-food chain closing for an additional day this week sounds even more unbearable, leaving fans with fewer opportunities to enjoy its famous chicken sandwiches and waffle fries.

Today, families across the country gather to give thanks and enjoy a traditional feast that often includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole, green beans, and pumpkin pie.

More Thanksgiving Hours:

While Thanksgiving has evolved into a cultural tradition rather than a strictly historical one, many businesses tend to temporarily close their locations to give employees time to celebrate with loved ones or simply take a day off. Other essential businesses may reduce their hours or remain open, which can make it a bit challenging to know which establishments will be operating.

However, the holidays don’t have to be overwhelming, and Chick-fil-A has confirmed everything customers need to know about its upcoming Thanksgiving plans.

Is Chick-fil-A closed on Thanksgiving 2025?

Chick-fil-A has confirmed that it will be closed on Thanksgiving Day 2025, making it one of the only two holidays for which the chain shuts down its restaurants. While this means one fewer day to enjoy its food, the closure will allow its employees to spend time with their family and friends during the holiday.

For those hosting Thanksgiving gatherings, there’s no need to spend the entire day stuck in the kitchen. Chick-fil-A offers catering options for pickup or delivery before and after the holiday, including a variety of entrees, sides, desserts, and beverages. Availability and menus may vary by location, so planning ahead is recommended.

More Food Industry News:

Customers are encouraged to check the Chick-fil-A restaurant locator on its website to confirm their local store’s schedule.
