Walmart’s Pokémon Week has deals on plushies, trading cards, video games, and more

Three decades ago, the world was introduced to what would soon be a global phenomenon and a staple in many people’s childhoods: Pokémon. On Feb. 27, 1996, the first-ever Pokémon games — Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green — debuted in Japan. Now, the day is officially known as Pokémon Day.

In honor of the franchise’s 30th anniversary, Walmart is celebrating with Pokémon Week. From now until Tuesday, Mar. 3, there will be deals and exclusive drops on all things Pokémon, including trading cards, video games, plushies, and more, with prices starting at $28.

Walmart+ members get early access to exclusive drops throughout Pokémon Week. The Pokémon Trading Card Game: Mega Evolution Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Box and Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution: Ascended Heroes Mini Tin (10 count) are already available. Here’s the rest of the lineup:
