Unlike a sleeper chair, where room is limited to one, maybe two people, at most, a sleeper sofa offers more space. Although when it’s positioned as a sofa it’s only designed for two people at a time, largely in part to the center armrest, when it’s fully reclined it measures 65 inches long, 32 inches wide, and 14 inches high, and provides more than enough room for two, three, and maybe even four people depending on their size.

The sofa has a manual push back recline that’s adjustable at three different angles, so you can easily switch between sofa and bed whenever you need to. When it’s set up as a sofa, a portion of the back comes down to allow for an elevated arm rest that more evenly divides the sofa into individual seats and has cup holders. You can also store that middle divider up to allow for more people to sit on the sofa if necessary. The ends of the sleeper sofa both also have their own arm rests, which convert to pillows when it’s fully reclined down. 

Metal legs support the base of the sofa, and it’s made with faux leather, wood, and foam to provide stability and comfort at the same time. The cushions are tufted to give it a classic, sleek look that pairs well with other types of furniture. The sofa has a weight limit of 600 pounds, but only weighs about 68 pounds which makes for an easier assembly.
