Why we love this deal

You may not think of outdoor lighting as the most glamorous part of your home decor, but it’s certainly one of the most impactful. How your home’s outdoor spaces are lit up at night says a lot about your personal style and the value you place on small details. As such, it’s important that you have a good outdoor lighting scheme, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to spend a fortune. In fact, you can light your yard or patio for less than a tank of gas, thanks to Walmart. One of its bestselling solar-powered light sets is on sale for almost half off.

The Kidsjoy 8-Piece Solar Outdoor Light Set is available for $33, while the usual cost is nearly twice as much, at $60. If you’re looking for a way to spruce up your space without sacrificing too much cash, then today is your lucky day.

Why do shoppers love it?

This lighting set checks all the boxes when it comes to quality, value, and aesthetics. Each of the eight fixtures is made from rustproof ABS plastic. ABS is a lightweight, impact-resistant thermoplastic polymer that allows for high-grade, low-cost manufacturing. The clear housing allows for maximum light diffusion, even in rainy weather. The clear plastic is also shatterproof, so you can feel secure that they’ll last for years. That said, it’s easy to disassemble each lamp should you need to access the bulb inside. The lamps each measure 16 inches in height, meaning they’re not likely to shift or move once the stakes are placed into the ground, regardless of windy weather.

Not only can this light set save you money due to the affordable sale price, but because it’s solar powered, it can also save money on your monthly electricity bill. Each lamp charges in as little as 4 hours, and a single charge can power them for a full 14-hour period before they need to be recharged. They have an automatic on off feature that engages with the setting and rising of the sun. It’s one of the least labor-intensive options you could possibly have when it comes to lighting your patio, deck, porch, or yard.

The LED bulbs inside each lamp have a warm, soft glow, unlike many sterile-looking bright white LEDs. They have a rectangular design that looks refined and expensive. The dark brown color of each piece will blend in perfectly with your outdoor decor and the nature that surrounds it. Thanks to the wireless design, you can place each one as close or as far from the others as you wish. This opens a whole new level of freedom in regard to landscaping and planning your overall lighting look. It’s available in a smaller six-pack for those who may not need all eight.
