Caroline Woods: What’s your best advice to investors who might be a bit concerned. Because the market seems very expensive right now, but they don’t want to miss out on any future returns?

Jessica Inskip: So that’s fear of missing out is something that’s always going to prohibit you from doing anything I say do things scared. That’s very important. And it starts with a foundation of financial literacy. If you understand you’re going to make better calm and calculated decisions. But that’s also why tactical asset allocation is so important. So what that means. I have a portion that might be in index funds or more aggressive in technology, but I have others that will help smooth out that volatility. Your portfolio is not diversified. If it all goes up at one time, and we have to consider that. So for the beginner investor that’s the most important aspect is diversification. But tactical asset allocation that you are constantly adjusting. So when there is volatility you’re prepared for it.
