As someone who has run multiple half-marathons and a full marathon, I can attest to the importance of proper running shoes. That’s why I’ve run all of my races in Adidas footwear. Why do shoppers love it?
These sneakers have all the hallmarks of Adidas running shoes, and that’s great news. For starters, the upper is constructed from lightweight mesh. It’s incredibly breathable, which I’ve found to be as important during a warm-weather race as it is during a summertime stroll with my dogs. The lightness of the mesh also drastically reduces fatigue when wearing the shoes for long periods of time, regardless of your activity level.
The shoe’s midsoles may be the real stars of the show. They’re packed with Cloudfoam, which is Adidas’ proprietary ultra-soft EVA compound that provides plush cushioning to the soles of your feet with every stride. Cloudfoam was developed to make wearing the shoes all day long a joy, and it’s been very popular with both long distance runners like me and casual wearers as well. It also provides sufficient bounce for those who like a little extra spring in their step.
The padded tongue and heel collar provide added stability and keep your foot locked comfortably in place. As someone who struggles with slippage inside his running shoes on race days, this is a very welcome feature. The sneakers also have a thick rubber outsole for superior grip on any surface, and the shoes are made from at least 20% recycled materials, making them healthy for the environment as well.
