A number of major retailers will be closing their doors to customers on July 4. Costco, for example, won’t be open that day.

Aldi, however, is not closing for the July 4th holiday. So if you wake up that morning in a panic realizing you still have a few last-minute items to pick up, that shouldn’t be a problem.

In fact, Aldi does its best to only close on rare occasions because it knows how much customers count on it for affordable groceries.

These days, food prices are up across the board. For budget-conscious consumers, Aldi is a lifesaver.

Thankfully, the store only closes four times during the year:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Easter Sunday
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

Store hours may be different on July 4th

Although Aldi is not making plans to close on July 4th, it’s common for grocery stores to alter their hours during holidays.

There’s a good chance your local Aldi will close earlier than usual. So if you’re planning to head to Aldi on July 4th, you may want to call your neighborhood store first to confirm its operating hours for the day.
