Although McDonald’s is known for its Big Mac, McNuggets, and signature fries, most people would agree that its apple pie is one of the best fast-food desserts on the market.
So when a new seasonal pie gets added to the menu, it’s hard not to run to the nearest McDonald’s restaurant to try it before it’s gone.

If wanting to elevate the McDonald’s pie experience, a hack some fans may know is to order a vanilla cone inside a cup, crush the pie into it, and mix it with the soft serve.
Trust me, you won’t regret spending the extra $1.49.

McDonald’s brings back a discontinued menu item over two years later
McDonald’s (MCD) introduced the Blueberry & Crème Pie to the U.S. market in 2017 as a limited-time offering, and since then, it has made surprise appearances throughout the years.
This iconic pie features blueberries and vanilla-flavored crème layered side by side inside a baked pie crust.
Unlike most McDonald’s pies, this one is different, because it has no constant return date or season. The last time it was available on the menu was January 2023.

However, after more than a two-year-long hiatus, McDonald’s finally decided to bring back the Blueberry & Crème Pie.
This latest menu addition surprised fans, because instead of finding out directly from McDonald’s, the user @snachwithzach posted the news on Instagram.
Here’s where to find the McDonald’s Blueberry & Crème Pie
When releasing a new menu item or relaunching a fan favorite, McDonald’s usually makes an official announcement, publishes a press release, or posts about it on social media to create buzz.
As unusual as this move may sound, there’s a reason for the secretive relaunch.

Unfortunately, the Blueberry & Crème Pie will only be available for a limited time nationwide at select McDonald’s locations.
No official list of states or specific locations has been released. Still, the beloved pie has been spotted at some McDonald’s restaurants in Boston, Houston, Iowa, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Utah, according to the post’s comments section.
McDonald’s doesn’t publish exact menu item statistics regarding consumer demand for a product, so this exclusive launch may be a way for it to test the Blueberry & Crème Pie before making any significant investments to release it at all locations nationwide.
After all, the fast-food giant has suffered from continuous sales declines, especially in the U.S. market.
