Business has been booming for T-Mobile. The company’s first-quarter earnings results revealed 1.3 million postpaid net customer additions in the first quarter of 2025, as well as 5% service revenue growth year-over-year, both of which the carrier described as “best in industry.”
However, while T-Mobile touts its leadership in network technology thanks to its nationwide 5G Advanced network, it’s long been lacking in one area: its phone lineup. Verizon offers more than twice the number of phone models as T-Mobile.

Now, however, T-Mobile has added a new device to its offerings, and it’s an impressive one.

Data shows that while 11.89% of people upgrade their phone annually and 4.28% do so every six months, the majority of cell phone users – 55.47% – upgrade every two or three years.
