Returning to the great outdoors is a hallmark of every spring. What better way to do that than with a well-made pop-up tent. It’s a great way to enjoy the warmth without suffering oppressive heat in direct sunlight. Thanks to Target, you can get a terrific canopy at a deeply discounted price, and it looks great as well. Just don’t tell too many other people, or it’s likely to sell out before you get your hands on one.
The Costway Instant Pop-Up Canopy is a great buy at just $75. The original price is $210, meaning it’s currently an impressive 64% off. This is the kind of deal you have to take advantage of quickly, lest it sells out. To that point, one colorway is already gone.

Why do shoppers love it?
Finding any old pop up tent that might blow away or get destroyed in the wind is easy. What we’ve found, however, is a robust and practical pop up canopy that can take some real punishment. The frame is made of powder-coated stainless steel that’s both rustproof and corrosion-resistant. It’s built to withstand the elements, including sun, rain, and perhaps most importantly, wind. The oversized canvas fabric canopy attaches at the bottom of the four feet for added security. It’s made from waterproof polyester, making it an all-weather option year-round. It doesn’t have a wind vent at the top, though due to its relatively small footprint, that likely won’t be an issue for most people.
When assembled, the tent measures 10 feet long by 10 feet wide by 8.4 feet high. It’s the perfect size to set up on your patio for afternoon barbecues, take to local sporting events to stay in the shade, or even set up at the beach for a day of salt-air siestas. Not only do the durable materials make this portability possible, but the convenient design does so as well. This tent can be popped up or down in mere minutes, and it can even be managed by a single person, according to some reviews. When the tent is folded down, it fits comfortably into the canvas carrying bag that’s included.
Also included with the tent are four thick wind ropes and eight stakes. The ropes and stakes allow you to easily tie the frame down, keeping it firmly on the ground, even in relatively high-wind situations. The footpads have holes for additional stakes as well, making the frame even more wind-resistant. The only improvement that we might suggest for wind resistance would be the addition of sandbags. You have three choices from which to choose with this canopy as well, so there’s something for everyone, no matter your tastes.
