Why we love this deal

Bedding is an afterthought for many people, but it shouldn’t be. I, for one, can’t sleep if my sheets are scratchy and thick. I also have trouble relaxing if I know I spent an arm and a leg on something unnecessarily. That’s why I usually start any bedding search at Walmart. To that point, I found a four-piece sheet set on sale that piqued my interest. It’s a soft microfiber design that comes in a wide variety of sizes and colors. At the moment, it’s also nearly half off, which sounds like a dream.

The Somerset Home 4-Piece Microfiber Sheet Set is a special find, thanks to a 40% discount. That means that the regular price of $20 is reduced to just $12. That’s less than the cost of a meal at most restaurants and makes it easy to grab extra sets for guest beds, too. You could buy sheets for four beds for under $50.

Why do shoppers love it?

These sheets do exactly what the best home products do. They deliver maximum quality without a lot of pomp and circumstance. In addition to being affordable, the sheets are well made, attractive, and above all, comfortable. Included in this set are a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two matching standard pillowcases. The fitted sheet is able to accommodate mattresses up to 12 inches thick. The entire set is made of 100% polyester brushed microfiber, which is far more durable than cotton. It’s also wrinkle-resistant, machine-washable, and hypoallergenic. That makes the sheets ideal for those who suffer from seasonal allergies.

What’s more, the sheets are also fade resistant, so a few of the aforementioned wash cycles won’t diminish the brightness of their colors. Speaking of colors, the set is available in seven colorways ranging from neutral to exuberant. You also have five size options from which to choose, including twin, twin-XL, full, queen, and king. Thanks to the low sale price, you may want to buy multiple sets so you can refresh every bedroom in the house, regardless of bed size.

While all of these factors make this sheet set a winner, the true measure of a bedding set’s worth is its relative comfort. Because of the brushed microfiber material, they’re eminently soft and incredibly comfortable, according to buyers. Reviewers said they “feel great,” and they praised them as “soft to the touch.” I’ve also found that this type of microfiber sheet set tends to feel even softer once it’s been used for a while. It gets that lived-in feel that you never get right out of the package.

In addition to the above reviewers, another shopper shared their favorite aspects of the set, and it highlights exactly what makes these sheets so special. They praised the “beautiful color, breathable material” and the fact that “they don’t pill or shrink in the dryer.”
