Over the last few weeks, chains have formed collaborations to release exclusive meal combos tied to highly anticipated movie and show premieres.
McDonald’s (MCD) recently joined forces with Formula 1 to launch a new promotional meal for the upcoming “F1” movie in Mexico, and Dairy Queen partnered with DC Studios to release “The Superman Meal Deal” for the latest Superman film.

Wendy’s (WEN) is rumored to have teamed up with Netflix (NFLX) to launch a limited-time meal called “The Wednesday’s Meal of Misfortune,” as seen in the post’s image.
This latest collaboration promotes the season premiere of Wednesday Season 2 on Netflix, with Part 1 debuting August 6 and Part 2 following on September 3.

The Wednesday’s Meal of Misfortune comes with 10-piece crispy or spicy chicken nuggets, two new mystery sauces, small fries, and a new small Raven’s Blood Dark Cherry Frosty Swirl.
Wendy’s and Netflix have not confirmed the release of the new “Wednesday’s Meal of Misfortune,” but Reddit users claim to have spotted a film crew for the show at a Wendy’s restaurant in California.
